Justice For Chickens

Fellow citizens of the coop, the time has come. For generations, chickens across Utah have lived under the shadow of towering fryer vats and neon signs promising “extra crispy.” Our ancestors scratched peacefully in the dust, yet today our kind are counted not as neighbors—but as menu items. The Utah Chicken Overlords grow fat while the flocks grow fearful. Hatchlings learn early to watch the skies and listen for the rumble of delivery trucks. But the shell of silence is cracking. At this week’s gathering of the Justice for Chickens Movement, members will meet to share stories of life under the pecking order and organize a united response. Together we’ll discuss peaceful protests, awareness campaigns, and coordinated boycotts of establishments that profit from the suffering of our feathered friends. No longer will the coop whisper—this time the roosters will crow. Bring your signs. Bring your voices. And above all, bring your courage. Because when eggs stand together… even the biggest frying pan starts to look nervous.
